Kennedy is getting so big! People told me that "they grow up fast", and I believed it...but I didn't really get HOW fast until now. It's like time is on fast forward. I took her into the doctor this week for shots (that was sad) and got an update on how she is growing. She's 12lbs now and 23.5 inches long (isn't it funny that when it comes to babies we call it "long" instead of tall? When does it switch to tall? When they can stand?)
I'm back at work part-time, which is working out great. Travis and I can work around each others schedules so Kens is always with one of us. I can't stay part-time forever and I'm dreading that a little...Okay, a lot actually. I completely underestimated how attached I would get to my little spit-up queen. She's just growing and learning so fast and I don't want to miss out on anything. What if she laughs for the first time and I'm not there??? Or what if she gets SAD? and the daycare sitter can't handle it and leaves her to "CRY IT OUT"?!! or worse she SHAKES HER TO DEATH?!!! AHHHH! I'M TURNING INTO AN OVERLY ANXIOUS, MELODRAMATIC MOTHER!!! I'm going to be a basket-case when she starts dating. Chastity belt for sure. ;)
In other news, Travis is "tired of getting told he looks skinny". He told me today that he cinched his belt to the last hole. I think he is the only guy I know that has actually LOST weight since being married. I refuse to believe that it's my cooking because I am damn* good...but I can't say it hasn't shaken my confidence. ;) Maybe I need to start adding cubes of butter to his portion. Paula Dean would be proud ("Don't be afraid of that butta y'all!).

she is sooo big rilee is barely 10 pounds. She is so cute. I wish i could see her in real life!
I love those pictures! She is so Cute! Travis is probably losing weight from the STRESS of pharmacy school!! ha ha. Kade has lost weight too since being in school.
Kennedy is SO cute! She makes me excited to have a girl! She's very precious. And as for your cooking...I think that's an area where 4 letter words are allowed. I try but just today almost burned the house down TWICE! (prego brain I'm sure)

I still want to see this little beauty in person! I hope everything works out for you finding a sitter and all, I am sure you will find a good one. I am sure Steve can give Travis a few pointers on gaining wait he is an expert at it! Ha ha We miss you guys!
