My First Tag!

Post eight habits, quirks, or interesting facts about yourself then tag eight people at the end....
I already feel like I talk about myself too much on this blog, so I'm going to make this about Trav. He's way more quirky/interesting/habit forming. :) So here's everything you ever wanted to know about TRAVIS....

1. He can't sleep if the sheets are "lop-sided". I'm kind of a wild sleeper and I pull the sheets around with me when I'm thrashing. If I've been asleep before he gets into bed and the sheets are all messed up- he has to turn the lights on and fix them. Sometimes he'll pull them clear off the bed and start fresh. It cracks me up. I just lay in bed and giggle at him while he's tucking and pulling.
2. He was a fat baby. I find this so funny. To look at him now you'd never think people used the word "fat" to describe him. Oh, but he was. We always jokes that he weighs the same now as he did when he was 6 months...he just grew taller. One of these days I'll post a picture.
3. He's a "Car Guy". I'm really amazed at how much he loves cars and how much he knows about them. We play a game when we are driving at night where he guesses what car is heading our direction by looking at its headlights. It's incredible! If it's a "sweet car" he will give me a whole list of stats and facts and then say "Isn't that awesome? You'll have one of those one day" (I'm going to have about 75 cars 'one day', by-the-way). Then I'll usually say, "Do you study these things in your free time?"
4. He has only one bad habit. I'm pretty easy going, but there is one thing that Travis does that drives me bonkers. It's really lame....are you ready? He puts a new stick of butter on the butter dish before it's been cleaned! I don't know why it bugs. I just want a nice new clean butter dish for the nice new butter. Is that so hard to ask?! It's really no big deal. We just laugh because he has a list of things that I do that drive him nuts and all I can think of is the butter thing. It's not because he's more perfect though...it's only because I'm less anal.
5. He speaks the two hardest languages to learn; English and Chinese. That's a pretty cool bragging right, right? He served a mission in Singapore and speaks near perfect Chinese... so I'm told (like I would know???). It's probably one of my favorite things about him. It just makes me smile to hear it.
   
6. He is very artistic. If you have been to my house you can see his art all over. My coffee table center piece is in a porcelain bowl he made, for example. He's also made most of the furniture in my house. He's really really good at just about everything. (Don't you just hate people like that?)
7. He asked for a brief case for Christmas....when he was six. This is my favorite story of Travis. All he wanted for Christmas was a brief case and a desk. After he got it he would sit for hours at his desk drawing lines of "cursive" and organizing his papers. He was so ambitious, even at six!
8. His legs don't touch when he stands with them together. Yes, he's that skinny (and I think it's so hot!!! :)
