I guess I can start with some good news...We are officially done with our second year of Pharmacy school!! YAY! I say WE because it is absolutely a family effort to become a Pharmacist. We all have to work hard and give up a lot of things (i.e. time together, new jeans/golf clubs, sanity, etc) to make it work. But it works!! We make a pretty good team. Travis is my level head and listening ear when I have a "I-want-to-be-a-stay-at-home-mom-freakout", I am on snack duty when he is up late studying and Kennedy is the comedic relief when we are all stressed out. Only 2 more years! Go Team Snow!
If you haven't heard, we are living in Cedar for a few months. Trav has 8 weeks of summer rotations in Southern Utah, so here we are! It's good to be home. I don't think we will end up in Cedar, but it will always feel like home. I'm still working. Since my job is mostly computer based, SkyWest (best employer ever) is allowing me to work out of the Cedar Station. I fly to Salt Lake every other week for meetings and what not, but other than that I can get to work in 7 minutes or less! It's HEAVEN I tell you!
The Snows are letting us stay in their basement. Talk about flashbacks. I have so many memories of this house. It reminds me of our dating days--the smells, the comfy couch, the x girlfriends blanket we cuddled in. Our first official date was actually in the garage where we made skim boards. It's kind of weird that we stay in Travis' old bedroom. There are old pictures of me still hanging up. Sometimes I feel like we hopped back in time when the Holy Ghost still went to bed at midnight and I should be heading home instead of climbing into bed.
Kennedy has become the family mooch. If she see's you have food, she suddenly becomes your best friend--flirting and smiling. And if that doesn't work she yells at you until you give in. It's pretty cute actually. It's so fun to see her personality come through. We took her in for pictures last week and she ate it up. She loved all the attention--everyone trying to make her smile. She had the whole studio rolling by the time we were done. She blows kisses, climbs stairs, says bird and Koda, she flirts like crazy and she is my little ray of sunshine. Oh, how I love her. I would love her to peices even if she was a rotten, ornery baby...but she's not and it makes it so, so much fun.
I forgot my camera cord, so I don't have any new pictures to post since we've been here (which is a shame b/c Miss K is adorable in her little swim suit!) but here are a few of the pic's from the last shoot...
