"It's sad to grow old, but nice to ripen"

The Snow family has had an eventful month. Trav is now 26 years old (weird!), I turned 25 (even more weird) and Kennedy reached her 6 month mark (now almost 7!). We're just growing right up. I can't get over how fast life is moving.

My dad celebrated a birthday as well and he made the comment that the only thing that makes him feel old is watching his kids grow up. I'm starting to see what he means. You don't realize what kind of growth you experience over time when you are living in the middle of it; but when you're watching someones life unfold, from the minute they take their first breath, it gives you a whole new perspective.

I guess life is good at every stage. As long as you learn to stop wishing it away and just live in the moment. That is the tricky part.

I made a hat for Kennedy and we delivered birthday cupcakes to Dad at work. She was the star at Rite Aid!

This is what we call her bitter beer face. She's does this all day long. Not very flattering, but oh-so-funny. I love it.

She likes the way her teeth feel. If it's not bitter beer face, its lizard tongue.
