I had to apologize to my belly/baby yesterday because for the last 2 months I've been calling her a him! That's right ladies and gents....it's a girl!
Here she is!
And WOW did parenthood hit me like a brick yesterday. It almost didn't seem real until I saw that little body wiggling on the ultrasound screen. What an amazing little miracle. Who knew you could love something so much? Seeing her move and feeling her kick makes all of the changes and worries that come with pregnancy seem so trivial. Yes, my body will never be the same; yes, our lives are about to be turned upside-down; and yes it's true that there are a million ways that I as a parent can screw up my kid. Even so, I wouldn't trade this for the world. I am so in love :) So bring on the big hips and stretch marks! Bring on the sleepless nights and poopy diapers!
It is so worth it.

YAYAYAYA!!!! I'm so excited for you!! Didn't you guys leave the ultrasound room SO EXCITED!!...i know dave and I did. You'll have to let me know when you are having your baby shower!!!!!

Rock On!! Join the girl club, I think most of us in our age group that are having babies are having girls. It is SO fun. Congrats and you are right it is all SO worth it the sleepless nights and hips and all. Feeling them move is the most amazing thing ever. Congrats!!

oh my gosh!!!! congratulations!!!! i'm so excited for you! isn't it crazy to see that there actually is a little kid in there? it was so weird for me too to see the ultrasound. A girl will be so much fun.

Congrats Malea! you are adorable pregnant! and you are completely right it is SO worth it.. just wait till she looks up at you and smiles and the stretch marks seem so trivial! It is worth every second and the best thing in the world!
Oh! She has five fingers! She is beautiful in black and white! I can't wait to meet her. (ah... my first niece) So when are you coming down so we can get making pink quilts and such? lol. (They don't have to match!)

Congrats, everyone is having girls! YAY for girls, I'm already spending more than I did on Dax, girl clothes are so much cuter!
Yeah! We need some more girls in this family:). Good thing there have been lots of sales on little girl clothes lately. Our closet is starting to look like Grandma Danna's. I hope you guys like pink!
Congrats! Babies are so so so so much fun! I LOVE seeing them movin around inside, but it's a million times better when they're here. You think you love her now? Wait until she's here. It's amazing. Congrats!
