Meet Zachary and Zoe. It's a long and uninteresting story, but we are now the proud owners of two cockatiels . Zachary is the one on the left and Zoe's the chubby one. (That's what Trav and I look like next to each other! haha)
I always thought our first pet would be a dog. Who would have thought we'd end up with birds? I've never liked the idea of having birds as pets.....they should be free, you know, allowed to fly out in their natural habitat. I thought about setting them free, but that would be a death sentence because they would never survive in our crazy weather. Besides, Trav is pretty attached to them. So I guess I'll just have to treat them well while they're with us (which will be a while because they live forever, so I'm told). I know I sound like such a tree hugger..."FREE THE BIRDS!"... haha. I would free Shamu too, if I could. :)

WE are SO EXCITED that you have a BOLG!!!! It really is addicting, but a good way to keep in touch with family and friends! We totally are looking forward to you guys coming out to visit. Just let us know when you want to come out!
